Any Sea Ray SRV owners?

Anyone who owns 70's vintage SRV's, do you know what kind of speedo they used from the factory. I cannot find any documented info on how the factory speedo get its signal.

Ive got the SRV 220 1979 with the MR type outdrive 898 merc. The speedo uses a pitot tube pick-up usually mounted to the transom next to the outdrive where the hull and transom meet. The pitot tube (plastic hose) about 1/4" dia. runs from the pick-up through the transom above the waterline and directly to the dash gauge. If the tube is there and you blow into it the gauge should register. Hope this helps

These are two black boxes like those used with fish finders. One is dismounted. The other is mounted and looks broke.
