Any one boat on the wisconsin river??

Just looking for some tips to boat on the river and maybe exchange some fishing spots.

It's been a while since ya posted this.


I havn't been on here -------------yet. I now there's some state area in that area. It is one of the places I want to explore. That and the Mississippi.

Kinda shallow in the Portage area. Need a boat set up to run that depth unless you go a little further south of the Baraboo River inlet. Then it deepens out a bit. They pull the river markers right after Labor Day so a good map of the lake/river will be your best friend. Can't tell you about fishing.

That's why it's called Portage.
