60 HP Big Foot can be either a three cylinder two stroke or a four cylinder fourstroke. The BigFoot feature is nothing more than a 2.33:1 lower unit gear ratio which allows use of larger diameter props with more pitch than the standard lower units with 1.83:1 gear sets. Other than that, the engines are identical to their non-BigFoot bretheren. Both are 995 CC (4S) and 967 CC (2S). Very common power plants on that size pontoon. As with anything, proper maintenance will ensure best reliability.
