Any Illinois River Boaters Out There

We live in Peoria Illinois and just wondering if anyone here boats out there or goes to paradise beach.

I sometimes boat in the Illinois, but not near Peoria. I'll venture from mile 0 to mile 21 or so (Grafton to Hardin) about once a year for some good BBQ and beautiful scenery. I tend to stay in the Mississippi however.

I have family on the Rock River up in Rockford, but I've never been boating in Peoria.
