Any GT racers out there?

I've been looking into the mini gt racing the past couple days, and seeing if any of y'all on here are into it. Would like to get some info on it.

Thought you might find this interesting. It's a vid from TCPBA. A group in Mpls, MN that I use to race with. The first class in the vid is the Mini GT, looks like they run 25hp. I ran in Sport C. Tough to tell if my old boat is out there. It may be the purple #522

What group would you run with? They probably would have a website and contact info....

You can also go here, pick your state and find a club near you. Best bet is to hook up with people already racing......

Cool stuff for sure, thank yall for the input. And i was thinking running the GT pro class, I'm a experienced boater and am currently in school for marine mechanics so I'll be able to do all my own wrenching and what not. Hmm seems like the closest group to me is North Alabama. Seems like a pretty cheap hobby, if you keep it in the Mini GT's. A 10 foot hull, with a 30 horse OMC outboard.

I just talked with these guys at the Mpls Boat Show yesterday. Cool boats. My buddy and I were looking into going to Crosby this year to check it out. They were handing out dates and times for the 2013 races. Need to be a midget to fit in one....
