Any feedback on this boat?

I like this boat.

This guy says it runs and he last took it out this April.

We live in a town with a big lake so water test should be no problem. It just looks pretty good for 975 dollars so I am apprehensive. Of course none of ya'll can tell me whether or not it's a deal based on some photos-just wondering if there's anything about this ad that stands out as a red flag to any of the seasoned boaters here. Again, thanks!

Sometimes a cheap boat costs alot more in the end. The price dont seem that cheap compaired to the age of the boat. Around where i live, you add $500 to the budget and you'll be in the water this weekend, and for the summer. I would pass, save up my loot, set myself up for next year. The boat just didn't/dont look that great. If you have to have it offer up $250.00, to get it off his property. You did ask...

Point taken Mike-thanks. I think I'm all revved up to get a boat NOW, but I need to really wait and make it worth it.

I would keep looking--unless it runs great, everything works-the tags are current, and has no rot or soft spots-poke around the bilge & bottom of transom with a screw driver--if it is soft- avoid.
