Any expierience with new Evinrude 9.8 hp?

Does any one have any expierience wit new line of Evinrude 9.8 hp.i think its 4 stroke line starting with 3.5, 4, 6, 9.8 15 hp
motors.
my friend is wondering if its worth.

No experience with these...

What I do know is this;

The pictured engine look familiar? The Evinrude your friend is looking at is made by Tohatsu. In fact lots of big outboard manufacturers have smaller engines made by Tohatsu.
So my advice is to look at the Tohatsu as well. They usually make a fine product IMHO....
