Any Boaters in the Savannah Georgia area?

I am new to the area and would like to know some nice lakes to go out on. I am tired of seeing the same old ogeechee and savannah river.

Midway Ga here, a little South. No lakes in the area, few small private ponds. Lakes are in Central Ga, Augusta and North on the Savannah River,,North Ga above Atlanta, and West Ga, just nothing close to us.
