Which power plant and drive system did you get in it?<br /><br />Below is a pic of my 2000 Chaparral Signature 290. Bought her new in March of 2001. I really like it and it's been a great boat. Its powered with twin Volvo Pinta 5.0 Gi's with the SX drives. <br /><br />

Since I changed my avatar I posted a pic above.<br /><br />Got any pics of your boat? If so, I would like to see one. <br /><br />Gotta Give it to Chaparral, they definately build a fine boat. Ive heard some horor storys about service. Fortunately have never had a problem to have to find out.

We have a '93 2500 SX, the bow rider version of the 2550. Ours came with a 7.4L Bravo1. Like you said, this is a great boat!

Welcome to iboats. If you have any pics of your boat you can post them here . Alot of regular members have posted pics of their boat and would like to see more pics added. I've got a 1993 2550SX Chaparral that I've had for close to two years now. 3rd owner<br /><br />It has a Merc 502 Mag and a Bravo One. Mine doesn't have a fridge, I wish it did. :( <br /><br />All in all, it's a good boat for my family.
