Sold my '02 Honda BF50 jet with 500 hrs. on craigslist for $800 over high book last month.
Immediately ran down and ordered an '07 (all new for this year, SFI, VTEC, BLAST, leanburn, 3 stage cooling, etc) Honda BF90 jet.
It immediately went on backorder with a shipping date out of Seattle at the end of this month.

Any lucky ones out there with one yet?

Yes it is and they are.
We're very lucky that my dughter is storing her NorthRiver here and she's given us permission to use it all we need.

BTW, I'm planning on installing this motor myself and can use any advice I could get.
Although it looks pretty easy, lift it with my engine hoist, center it up (windage and elevation)and drill.

Checked in and was told it's in Seattle clearing customs with a confirmed shipping date, still a month out.

Re: Any 2007 BF90's out there yet?

The motor came in last Thusday, two days before vacation where other boats in the family were going to be used all week.

My original plans were to hang and rig it myself, but time prompted the selling dealer to fire it up. Got it home Friday and all night and most of the next day I ran cables, detailed hoses wires and rigging, prolly 3 hours sleep.

All day yesterday spent putting around a local lake with 30mph winds breaking her in. So windy the bimini top was out of the question, good thing I had a start on this years tan, still reasonably burnt.

Up till 1am last night raising the motor another 1/8 inch, reshimming the impeller (jet) adjusting the nuetral safety switch and tie wrapping.

The family, three boats, will hit the river today for camping, then Lake Oroville and if we have enough time, Clear Lake.

With the boat rigged exactly the way I want, the BF90d (awesome beyond description), my new Motorguide wireless W55, my family all togeather, the wind dying off and 85-90 degree temps the rest of the week.......I still remain the luckyest man I know.
