I had a 1990 3 cyl merc. The middle hose on that motor went to the enrichener valve (choke solenoid). I hope this helps.

Thanx BKool68......Mine is old and decrepid..<br />she don't have an enrichment valve, only a solenoid to actuate a manual choke butterfly valve<br />Thanks anyway!!<br />
