Another Update: Portable GPS to VHF hookup

see my original post in this section for more information...<br /><br />Update:<br />I purchased the cable from E-Bay for $13.00 and snipped off the computer terminal end and wired it directly into the GPS wires hanging from the back of the VHF (Standard Horizon, Quest). It works like a charm. The hard part was figuring out which of the four wires in the cable hooked up to the VHF. It took all of 15 minutes to complete the job from beginning to end. The unit is a Garmin E-Trex Vista.<br /><br />Todd in TX
