nope .this is the first time I didn't have a bear licence and no slugs.had a 700 lb. 4 wheeler though so I could of run or charged I guess.all turned out well though.next time out slugs will be along for the ride though I hate to use unless its absolutely necessary. kfa 4303 your not going to like this but I actually feel sorry for you people that don't get the 4 seasons.:joyous:im sure you guys can tuff it out though,lol.as an add on I usually hunt birds later during moose season as the leaves are all down by then .the trees havnt even turn atall yet this year so I probably wont be going out again till later and I will have my 30.06 or the .50 cal hawken along for the ride.either will ruin a bear or mooses day real fast.this is the first bear ive seen up close in 35 years they usually run as soon as they hear a vehicle.i believe this one was just plain lazy and didn't want to be moved in any quick fashion.hope you had something more than bird shoot for a backup.
not getting into that as I would be booted off of here if i gave my honest opinion of that person.actually im off a month on my leaf falling recollection.must be loseing it,lol.this week coming up is suppose to be nice and warm and, hold on ,sunny!
