This from a family member who currently trains Kurdish troops.
Turkish and Iranian special forces are currently deployed in the Quandil Mountains about 5 miles inside Iraqi territory and are fighting Kurdish troops.
The Turks and the Iranians are chasing Kurdish rebels from the PKK and PJAK who are holed up in the mountain ranges.
Strong rumor has it that the Turks are poised to take over Kurdish areas, while Iran has the same intentions.
The two countries seem to be in close contact.
The Kurds appear to eye striking at southern Turkey and Kurdish parts of Armenia.
Not quite as peaceful as some of the media try to make us believe.
The countries surrounding Iraq have mostly come to the conclusion that Iraq is desintegrating and they are preparing to move in and fill the void that will soon be left behind when the Americans leave.
Iraq was a part of Turkey until 1918.Ancient Iraq was part of the Persian empire.
I have the feeling that we aint seen nothing yet.
