I forogot to put this in my last post.

When I put the engine in the down position (with the power trim) and walk
away it puts itself in the up position and runs on and of still trying to lift the engine.

Is this a bad relay?? If so which one - the one contolling the up or the one controlling
the down side??

Again thanks in advance.

Robert

the replacement cost on theses relay are cheap about $ 10.00 for each. if you like the next time you lower the engine disconect the up relay @ see if the problem goes away .

Thanks Lonewolf.

Check the wires (give them a little tug). I had one broken under
the rubber grommet on my #2 coil that gave me a fit until it
vibrated out and showed itself. ;)
