Help - I need plug wires! Can anyone tell me where to pick up a set of model-specific replacement wires?

Edit: if not, does anyone know what will work instead?

Most any boat dealer and some automotive parts stores will stock the wire and connectors. You buy the wire by the foot, cut to length and put the connectors on yourself. BTW, the wire is stranded wire, not noise suppressing automotive type.

DO NOT USE AUTOMOTIVE WIRE, will not hold up. laingsoutboards.com has all the necessaries for you motor. the specialize in the older motors, order everything you need, and shipping is usually $5.00.

If you don't want to do the online purchasing thing, check with a small engine or mower repair shop in your area. They generally sell/stock solid wire core plug wires, plus the terminals and terminal caps.

Found a set locally for 5.00.

Anyone have a diagram of the wire routing?
