Anode Question

like most things, depends on a number of factors including whether or not the boat stays in the water, what kind of water and materials, do you have easy access to checking/replacement mid-season if need be, your own prior experience with the conditions you're in

if in doubt, replace 'em before the season, and you should be set there

My boat is in the water for a month in the April - May and again October - November.

I change them as part of my water pump service...every two years if they need it or not

This is my first Honda outboard I have a 2003 130hp , any idea a ballpark price for all the anodes. Just curious.

I purchased the Anodes at a Honda Marine dealer but I was curious and saw them on this forum after I bought them, and there were Aluminum, Magnesium , & Zinc . Could I have used any of the three. My 3 anodes came to like $75 without tax which I thought was a bit much. The transom bracket one alone was $45. The other metals on here are considerably cheaper. Just curious that’s all
