Anode bolt 'kit' How many needed?

I need to buy the anode bolts for the gimbal housing. Mercruiserparts.com lists these as a 'kit'<br /><br />The kit # is: 55989A 8<br /><br />Now this kit (as far as I know) comes with the bolt, zinc anode, and a o-ring or washer of sorts..<br /><br />My question: Does this 'kit' have enough to do 1 gimbal? In other words, does it have 2 complete bolts in the 'kit' ? <br />At $37 bones a crack, this will get real spendy if I have to buy 2 'kits'<br /><br />I can't find anywhere to e-mail Mercruiser parts.<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />H.

Homerr<br />I think (?) the last one I sold was a pair, that was a couple of years ago. With a serial number, engine or outdrive, wwwmercurypartsexpress.com will ship from a dealer near you. Or you can www.mercruiserparts.com .<br />Backfire

Thanks Backfire...<br /><br />Their website is good, but I wish they'd give a place to ask questions.<br /><br />I'm just confused what they mean by 'kit'<br />You can click on that part number on that site, and it doesn't give any detailed information. <br /><br />Shouldn't it say 'set' ?<br /><br />Or Qty. required: 2 ?<br /><br />I would certainly think the 'kit' would consist of 2 complete bolts since it takes that many for a transom.<br /><br />H.
