Email. Not gmail. Local provider. Can't get into it on my Droid havent tried my laptop. Keep getting this message. If I go to ap info I can do a force stop. Just not sure if I will be able to start it again. Hitting the gear does nothing. And if I hit the 3 little dots in the ap I can uninstall updates, but it may delete all my emails??? It said, "all data will be removed".
This happened with accuweather too. I had to uninstall it. The error message would pop up everywhere no matter what ap I was in. ...

While we are on the subject of phones, let me pass this bit of information on to others. We, wifey and I, recently had some real phone issues with our batteries needing charged at least twice a day or more, to just try to work properly. So after a failed attempt of buying and changing batteries, we decided to just buy new phones. And yes, they were Android type phones as well that we've owned for many years.

So as I usually do, I try to read up on new phones before jumping into buy anything new that has tons of technology changes near daily. Well we decided on new 5G type phones, even though we will never ever use such expanded and faster capabilities. But the batteries were the important issue. 5000mah came with the new phones.

Well we searched and bought our new phones via Amazon. And we made absolutely sure the new phone would work on Verizon Android system too. And they stated they were Verizon capable. So we bought them.

However, we couldn't get them to send or receive text messages. So after having others look at them to figure out why, we went to a Verizon center that was a technical capable Verizon center and not some useless Verizon side place where no one in those Verizon place know much about their own produces.

The technician at the technical Verizon center worked on our new phones for a while and told us that even though Amazon stated compatible with Verizon, that is not necessarily true for ALL phone functions. The only sure way to get phones that truly work with their Verizon system, is to buy the phones at Verizon.

After working with them for quite a long while (making me really nervous) and even changing the SIM cards with 5G SIM cards (there are differences it seems), he finely got them to work. But it really was a huge eye opener that while they did work as phones, they easily could not work for much of anything else. Lesson learned nearly the hard expensive way.

Just a heads up if you are looking to buy any new phone...
