We were in Savannah and I took the wife on a cruise to the Savannah River entrance to see the big ships. When the huge cargo ship was approaching I told her to go up on the bow (we were on a 56' boat) and I would take a picture of her with the ship in the back ground. She is not real comfortable on the boat yet....but wanted the picture. I pulled out of the channel and pointed the bow toward the coming ship and waited.....as it approached I could see it's bow wave...It must have been at least 6'! The wife didn't see it until it was too late to return to the pilot house and just sat down on the bow seat and rode it out. The bow rose 6' and then plunged....about three times....I took the pictures and she screamed! I laughed till she got back to the helm, dripping. I love a little kiddin around.

She still goes but is learning more about boating every time we leave the dock.
