Everybody is ok and I have managed to pump my yard out.
As long as it doesn't rain anymore we should be ok

Imagine my surprise when my boat which has been on my deck all week was floating
There was almost 2 feet of water in my yard

One of the rivers near me (walking distance) had overflowed.
In fact the water rose so high last night that part of the highway was closed.

This is the exit from my neighborhood in the daylight this morningimage.jpg

Btw
We got 6 to 8 inches of rain in 24 hours

If I may be allowed to keep it light.... now you have no excuse for getting to work late!!! You'll be expected at 9 AM sharp! Lol. I remembered thinking about my boat during Sandy

Thanks for the pictures of the road but I was hoping to see a picture of the boat floating in the back yard.

That's the picture I was trying to get at first but the water was trying to get in my house, so I had to deal with that.
I did take a picture of the yard after I had it drained. It looks like a rice paddy.
