I was looking for an easy solution for an anchor attachment point on my Marineer 4 when I found the CamJam at Walmart. They have a plastic version and an aluminum version, I bought both. I will say no way would I trust the plastic version for anchoring but the aluminum one has been fantastic. My first time using it I still tied off the rope with a fair amount of slack between the tie off point (tied to my seat pedestal) and I was in some pretty rough water and there was no slipping in the CamJam so my next outing I did not bother tying off I just relied on the CamJam (much calmer waters though).
If you go with this option keep in mind the load must be on the back side of the CamJam, if it is on the front side it will not hold.
