Saturday I won this auction for a Graco Paint Sprayer. (using my alter-ego name)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6041286857&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1

Sunday I paid for it with Paypal. Monday nite I happened to re-look at the ad and I noticed that the sprayer, in the picture, did not match the description in the auction title. There was a considerable difference in the two units even though they both had the number 395 in their title.

So late Monday nite I emailed the seller thinking that I was going to have a fight on my hands. For all I knew, regardless of his intentions, he could have mailed the sprayer.

This morning (Tues.), I awoke to an email from the seller, with an apology for his lack of understanding the differences in the two units AND my PayPal account had already been credited.

My faith and confidence in my fellow man has been upheld and fortunately I was still able to leave him a positive feedback for his good efforts.

Glad to hear you had a positive experience. I have never had nothing but good transactions since I have been doing business there for the last 7 years. I have sold and bought many items and all have worked out great. Being truthful and good communication helps alot....There's alot of good folks on there...

I’ve bought quite a few things on E_BAY. Only had regrets one time that I paid too much for a item that I could have bought locally for a better price. Guess what that is not E_BAYS fault that is on me. :(

MOST EBayer's are hard honest working people like most of us here. You have to be careful, but if you are and follow some basic guidelines your transactions should be fine.

That's great! I am happy that the seller was honest. I do it for a living and it can be confusing at times depending on how many items the seller manages. I would have done exactly the same thing. I have to brag a bit http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=360moto&iid= I just crested the 1000 mark and I strive to stay on top.

I have been known to make errors in my listings but fix them asap. The guy desreves credit for keeping on the up and up.

Re: An ebay problem with a good ending!

My experience has been similar Boomer. The only problem I ever had was a set of xmas lights that didn't go out of the box (I bought sumpin' like ten of the same and one didn't go). Credit to my PayPal in minutes and I think I got those lights going later . . .

I have got a wide variety of stuff on Ebay, from a car to a used CD. Non-issue if you are careful.

Good job there 360moto!!! Awesome!
