Amsoil 100:1

Has anyone run Amsoil 100:1 actually mixed at 100:1 in an Evinrude 115?

No doubt they have. You will hear from them shortly. I do not recommend fuelil rations other than the manufacturer's recommendations. Ask the person who's recommending that 100:1 oil of they'll pay for your engine if it gets ruined. Amsoil says they will, but I've not heard of anyone getting paid. They claim they've never paid such a claim.

You're right, it's not worth the risk. Amsoil has a recognized name but they probably won't rebuild my motor when their marketing bet goes bad. Guaging from previous chat's they sure have stirred up alot of contreversy; it sounds like a lot of people have had good luck with it, but when anything goes bad and a motor is running lean on oil the damage can easily be compounded. Thanks for the advice, I guess I got wrapped up in someone risky excitement.
