Re: American Flag v. Mexican Flag

A few days ago I saw on the news that some organization protesting the influx of illegal aliens from Mexico publicly burned a Mexico flag. Surprise! The Mexicans took offense! I think we should get together in small groups and burn Mexico flags on a regular bases, just to help remind them some of their citizens need help getting back home.

So, what's new?

Ignorant and naive youth have always protested in outrage by seeking the most inflammatory ways to offend the "establishment". They usually have little or no understanding of the issue at hand.

I would bet a case of MacAllans 12 year old that not one of those youngsters can explain what it is they want or what it is they are protesting.

Well, if you are speaking about the protesters that burned the Mexico flag, they were middle-age adults and very well spoken/articulate.

Just an excuse to get out of class and act up. Apparently the kids run the school. I bet few of those kids have been to Mexico and some of them can't even speak Spanish.
Kids were blamed for running a dead deer up a school flagpole out in the sticks here. Not sure what that was about.

I think those folks were reacting in exactly the way the "protesters" wanted, 18R.
