"And as the upper thigh was printing, gravity took over." Well isn't that true it real life as well, gravity takes over and everything droops and falls apart? lolIt also shows how important design is. A ballerina on point has all the weight carried by her toes. Same with this and it looks like the legs are filled and as the upper thigh was printed, gravity took over. Too bad the vid doesn't have a count up timer to show how long it took before disaster struck.
Not sure I have any software to feed it. I don't have any type CAD or 3D design programs. So I guess It would take some good 3D software to make the proper file format for it. I have no idea what he was going to feed it from...GM if you've never looked into 'em ... and have a nice one ... do a little research. It is VERY impressive what they are capable of. I toured the National Transportation Research Lab in Knoxville and their 3D printing lab ... I was blown away by what can be done. Literally printing metal gear meshes that work right off the printer pad.
