:confused: ok, Thats not the answer I needed, now the mad engine doctor is in need of another anwer... do I have to use a marine block ?????:eek: Thanks for all input :)

You better check the heads before you go looking for just a block. Cracked blocks normally fill the crankcase full of water, not the cylinders. if you need heads too, plus it being a Ford, and all the problems with getting marine accessories any more, you might want to consider if it's even worth it in that old a boat.

Heads are already on the way to the machine shop to be fluxed and the intake also. Will see what the results of that is. A replacemnt motor , whole is around 1,300 $ wow right ??!!!!
