1979 johnson seahorse 4hp. <br />Model # 4w79d<br />This motor seems to have no neutral or anything?<br />When you pull it to start it, you better have it pointed in the direction you want to go.because its going. Is there some way of putting it in neutral so I can sit there and let it warm up?<br />thanks,<br />no4njnk

Not on that one. Try setting the bow on the bank, make sure you have enough water. It shouldnt take ling to warm up under load. It does have reverse though, just turn it around so the prop faces foward.
