After finding bad recirculation system check valves in my 94 TXERK 200hp Evinrude, I thought that all my problems have been solved.<br />I have:<br />replaced bad thermostats<br />checked compression--all good<br />reset all floats to correct level<br />synched/linked<br />replaced one bad coil<br />replaced all 6 recirculation check valves<br />checked all hoses, check valves(except for crankcase check valve)<br />set timing to spec<br />checked primer system for leakage<br />adjusted air bleed screws<br />replaced spark plugs<br /><br />The spark plugs look pretty good--dark brown and fairly clean. They are a littly oily afer idling for a little bit, which should be normal.<br />My problem is that the engine runs good, but always loads up at idle and accelerates poorly for a few seconds until it cleans out. It never loads up to the point of dying, but just enough to run bad on accel. It has always seemed excessively rich and blubbery at lower rpms since I picked it up used this past Dec. I am running into a dead end<br />here and would like to know if there is anything that I have missed, and what else could cause my symptoms?<br />Thanks for any assistance from anyone!!
