I am building a boat lift on a variable level lake that goes to mud. Have a aluminum mud boat(s) that I can get to the lift with 1 inch water. Am thinking of using a sling lift rather than a cradle lift as it can be used in a few inches less water. But am reading about hull damage to fiberglass boats with sling lifts. Haven't found anything specific to hull damage to aluminum boats. Am I going to have hull damage to a small aluminum jon boat? Thanks
