What does everyone use to keep their boats clean and shiny? I have a 2015 Tracker Pro Guide that I'm wanting to keep looking good.

For trailer boats, Mcguires Quik Wax once a year, Quik Detailer after each outing, and Marine Spray Nine if you picked up some scum one day.

what are you starting with?

I cleaned an aluminum boat with pink stuff coil cleaner a few times, then followed up with sharkshide. however that was a lot of work.

Muratic Acid is used to clean aluminum diesel tanks on OTR 18 wheeler truck fuel tanks. Makes them look like new. OTR truck wash stations carry it....spray it on, wash it off.

Muriatic acid works well on polyester gel coat and also bare aluminum. I wouldn't try it on painted aluminum.

The OTR tanks are unpainted. My older alum Alumacraft were unpainted and that was my reference point. My Lowe Lake John was olive drab. Agree with your comment.
