Two years later they won the Superbowl, then another, then three out of four.<br /><br />A winner in the NFL is like a really good stew: all of the right ingredients at the right stage of development mixed and managed expertly. Then you need some luck and you need to play teams that are not peaked. One sour ingredient, like a WR who isn't a team player or a star QB with a season ending injury can make the whole thing fall apart.<br /><br />Any team can hit their peak in any season.

As far as the original question between the Bears and the Vikings, I say that the NFC North forfeit it's playoff spot, and give it to one of the AFC teams. Unfortunately, it'll probably be the Bears, though. But I won't have to go through the pain of watching the Pack lose because of ANOTHER last second field goal, like last year.<br />How could a Packer fan actually WANT one of those two teams to make the playoffs
