Hello, my boat has the 1992 alpha one genII drive, serial No: 0D873113.
As fas i can remember it had never trim cylinder anodes. I bought the Quicksilver aluminium anode set and it had the trim cylinder anodes with the screw. I tried to put them onto the cylinder end cap but i could not screw them. I thought that these anodes are for the Alpha one genII but they can not be fitted to mine......
And something else... inside the anode set, there was the Aluminum bearing carrier anode that i also can not fit.
Do you know if these two parts (trim cylinder anode and bearing carrier anode) can be fitted to my drive?
Thank you very much.

Some of the early models did not have those anodes. Look at the end caps on the trim cylinders. IF there are only 2 round non threaded holes, then they are not made for anodes, same with the carrier.

The end caps have 4 holes, but non theated and so i can not fit the screws of the anodes. Can i make 2 threated holes myself, or the end cap will be ruined (lose oil or anything else?)
