How do I tell which generation of Alpha One sterndrive that I have?

Ayuh,... You have an Alpha 1, Gen.II.....

1991 was the change year...

Based on the year yes Gen II but make sure as the PO of my 1994 boat replaced his Gen II with Gen I. Their are a few ways to tell the difference.
One way I can spot the difference is: The pivot pin that hold the trim rams on have snap rings not Locking nuts

That serial number is for a Gen II
