Hello,
Ive got 2005 Mercruiser 4.3L + Alpha Gen2 drive and this winter I want to drop off my drive for the first time,
when my drive will be off I wanted to:
- replace my Bellows,
-replace Gimbal
-replace UJoints
-reseal drive
+ do the Pressure test of my drive to seal this drive because most probably I have small leak somewhere, oil is in great condition but i have SMALL decrease in the monitor lube after the end of the season. It stops slightly above ADD mark. Also the vent cap is a little wet on top.

S/N on my drive is almost unreadable (check photos) but i think it might me 1A268871 (can You confirm??) and the sticker on the transom says: 0W416383

Anyway, Im not from USA and I will be ordering parts online because where Iam from the parts are quite difficult to reach.
Can You please tell me if that part numbers are okay and what else is reasonable to check/replace

Mercruiser Upper Unit Seal Kit 26-88397A1
Mercury Lower Seal Kit # 26-816575A3
Mercury Marine/Mercruiser New OEM REPAIR KIT-TRANSOM 30-803099T1

Is that correct for my engine?
I found on the forum that Bellows only OEM how about seal kit? Sierra?GLM? or OEM too?
How about the gimbal? Now ive got grease fitting

Thanks
Take care

Those kits look right to me. You are going to need some special tools to do the work though. Need a spanner wrench (and a special tool to gauge the torque when tightening, ACHRIS has a video on it), 5/8 that can access the shift cable, and a bellows expander. If you are doing all of the work listed you might as well do the gimbal bearing and bellows too. Will need bellows adhesive, a puller tool of some sort, and an alignment tool.

I had to cut my shift cable to do the repair (just did all of the above) but its possible there is a way to do it that doesn't require that, I just couldn't figure it out.

Might as well replace your impeller and check the seal carrier and shift bushing while you are in there.
