I'm having an intermittent issue with my out drive. It doesn't always go up or down. I can hit the switch and I hear the solenoid click but the pump doesn't run. I know it's not the switch as I have a switch in the rear also and it does it with both switches. Anyone have the same issue or able to tell me what to check next?

A poor corroded connection in the main pos or neg cable to the pump and the solenoids may be failing to make contact internally

OK, I'll check those connections tomorrow. Isn't it two separate solenoids? One for up and one for down? I wouldn't think they would both fail at the same time

OK, so I don't see any corroded wires. I put a test light on the green and blue wires. It does not light when it doesn't work. So, I'm thinking it's gotta be the relay. And it's not always making contact internally even though it's clicking. Any other ways to test it? Does anyone by chance know the part number to the solenoid? It's in an 01 rinker.

Ended up replacing both solenoids and it fixed the problem. Thanks for the help.
