Boat Doral spirit 1987 V6 4.3 Swapped to with an EFI from 1999 or 2001
Just bought it

The boat have a alpha one GEN 1, i think it need replacement, below what i notice
when i unscrewed the properler on foward position the properler was stiff enough to loose the bolt but it turned anyway with a medium amount of force and with kind of a rubbery sound

A have a complete sterndrive alpha one GEN 2 that seems in good condition
Do you think it is compatible with the actual transom and Gimbal

Thank you in advance!

I don't understand what you are describing. Did you turn the propeller with the drive in gear? If so, the rubbery sound could be the propeller hub breaking loose and spinning, which means your prop is now damaged. The prop nut should be removed before trying to remove the propeller.
It sounds as though English is not your first language. That can complicate matters.

yes the selector was in drive gear, i was able to unscrewed the nut before removing the prop, it just that was surprised that prop turned when i have unscrew the nut.

Any how the stern drive is removed i received my belows and bearing i will instal them probably after work this week
And since i have this gen 2 sterndrive i was wondering if it would fit ?

I saw some minor differences so i am asking

When the prop turned while the drive was in gear, did the prop drive shaft turn? Or did the prop spin on the hub? If the prop spun but the shaft didn't, you need a new prop or the prop hub repaired. If the shaft turned, either the drive wasn't in gear or is damaged. Make sure the shifter is forward and verify the shift cable on the engine moves with the shifter and moved the linkage to put the drive in gear. you may have to move the prop shaft a little for it to engage fully

to remove the nut place a block off wood between the blade and cavitation plate, loosen the nut tabs, unscrew nut CCW

Gen one and gen two drives are not interchangeable, shift mechanism, bellhousing, and trim cylinders and mounting are differnent

Update!! the coupler on the engine was broken! Thats why the propeller turned when the shift lever was put in foward position!!
The engine was swapped on that boat and was not aligned !!
That the main reason why the coupler snapped!!!
Any how after unexpexted $$ so far its seem to runs good...
