Hi All,

I have a 470/Alpha One.
LEG #5360867
ENG #5224580

Can anyone tell me what years these are based on numbers?

I have attached photos of trim pump, which one is it, there are 3 different ones?

Can anyone tell me which part number I may have to order for the circle shift block piece? Photo attached.

And also a photo attached of monkeyed with shift interupter switch with broken wire.

Comments or input would be great. The boat is a 1979 Silverline Nantucket 17V.

Thanks,

Re: Alpha One/470 Shift and trim pump question.

I Can't give you any info on the years, but that looks like the prestolite trim pump.

Looks like your shift interrupter switch isn't hooked up any more, not really a good thing. Maybe the wire just broke? But somebody probably cut it because it was causing the engine to die.

The part that you have circled is probably part of the entire shift bracket, so not sure if you can just replace that. Maybe somebody else can say for sure...

You can go to mercruiserparts.com and look at their parts diagrams for that shift bracket and trim pump.
