2001 Stingray MS200
4.3L, Alpha 1
Been out with boat several times now since getting a new engine and have had to add gear oil to the reserve tank at the front of the engine after each run. I figured that some air needed to be worked out of the line and it is somewhat normal for an engine swap, but I have added probably the volume of a full reserve reservoir, so now I am wondering if I have a bigger problem?
Reservoir is not milky, no oil appears to be in bilge or on the water at back of boat while on the lake, where is it going?
Mechanic changed the impeller while doing the engine swap, could that have something to do with it?
