alpha I stern drive oil capacity

I have drained the oil from my stern drive on my alpha 1. I am not sure how much oil I need to pump back into it. It is on a 1986 Chapparral boat. 230 HP inboard

hello iowa , fill it from the bottom till it comes out the top / vent hole .it will use approx a quart
