Alpha gen 2 impeller direction counter rotating Drive

Does the impeller in an Alpha gen 2 counter rotating drive spin the same direction as a standard rotation drive? By the marks on the inside of the housing, I think yes but I would like to verify this.

Yes, direction is changed in the lower (after the impeller)

Well, still looking for verification but, by looking at some things on the internet, it looks like the counter rotation is done after the water pumps vertical shaft and after it turns horizontal at the bottom of the drive. It makes since the engine is standard rotation.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... In the Alpha drives, Everything but the prop shaft, turns with the motor's crankshaft,.....

Shiftin' happened in the lower unit,.....
