Hi:
I have a 1988 24' Limestone with a 260hp Mercruiser i/o (looks like an alpha drive of some kind). The Limestone is unusual in that it has a 3 foot jackshaft connecting the engine to the stern drive (engine is in the middle of the boat).

When the engine wears out, I'd like to get a new 6.2L 320hp Mercruiser engine with a new Bravo drive. Will it be possible to convert the boat to use the Bravo drive? If so, what would be involved?

Thanks.
