Alpha 1 Water Pump

Hello,

I own a 1995 Bayliner 1952 Capri Cuddy 3.0LX Alpha 1. "Peachy Keighn"

I just picked up this bad boy. Along with some other toys.

I believe it is the wrong pump for my boat. Can someone tell me if the pump for the Gen1 and the Gen 2 Alpha 1's are deferent?

The gentleman at Overtons said it would work, but I don't really want to break apart the lower unit with the possibility that it won't fit.

Ayuh,... That's an Alpha 1 pump kit,...

You need a pump kit for a Gen.II drive,...
No, they're Not the same....

Is your drive serial number in the ranges that they listed?

The boat is about 50 miles away, but I will be finding the serial number this evening when I go up to do some work on it.

SN on the Mercruiser is OF473504. Going to give them a call today and get the proper water pump. Thanks again for the help.
