Alpha 1 outdrive won't lift, no motor sound; Help-PLease

Started up the boat "93" after being dormant for two years, the fluid in the outdrive was not milky but was black. Unfortunately I could not even get the motor to make a noise when trying to lift the outdrive. Any suggestions on what to look for.

There's a seperate slave solenoid for the T&T motor, probably corroded connections on it, or it's gone bad,,, find it, & clean, & lube all the terminals, then try again. On boats there are a lot of extra solenoids to check.
