I have just replaced my alpha one gen 2 drive and getting ready for our trip tmrw I notice water coming from a few areas. First is the area where the shifter lever goes into the little boot when you install the drive by the speed sensor hook up.
Second location is a little weep hole on right side of the drive by a bolt that holds upper and lower together. Just wandering if this is normal? Am I just looking to hard after being stranded last time thanks in advance guys.

Not sure what you are describing on the first area.

There is a weep hole in the lower unit for the cavity to drain out - so that is normal.

And yes, as long as the prop is clear and will not hit anything, including the hose and muffs, then you can put it into and out of gear.

Yeah I wish I could upload pics. Sometime it let's me sometimes it doesnt. The first location is where the shift lever on outdrive connects to shift lever on gimbal housing. It has a very small stream of water coming from it
