So i did the impeller today and I always pressure test drive after. 9 psi for 5 min and 15 psi for 15 min turning the shafts after times up. After the 15 psi test I saw the gauge drop a little moving the drive shaft and heard a little bubbling from the cavity where the drive shaft and water tube connect. I'm gonna spray with soapy water tomorrow and confirm it's not the oil seal in the upper but I think it's coming from the oil seal carrier below the impeller. I changed it 3 years ago but I heard they have a tendency to pop up, especially during a pressure test. If it's the other oil seal in the upper I think every thing gets removed to replace that correct. Is there any other seal that would make noise in that area.
