Hi Guys;
Just left the Mercruiser dealer with my can of liquid gold (perfect seal) for impeller gasket. It looks like the large hole gasket (bottom one) has a beed of some kind on the face that goes between the plate and the gasket. Am I supposed to put perfect seal between lower housing and gasket only?
The service writer said it was not nessesary, but the manual says it is. Any opinions? Dose that beed of what ever that is on the gasket replace the perfect seal, or is that for the top and the perfect is for the bottom?
Thanks.....
Ken
