All of a sudden the boat wont start???

So the baoat was running well, then after a serious rain storm, the boat wont start! It's cranking, but wont turn over. A friend thinks that I got water in it, b/c i have sub par cover, and the boat gets a lot of water in it. I just had had the fuel filter, plugs, battery oil pump and throttle senor replaced. Any Ideas?

You need air, fuel, compression and spark for the engine to run (and timing). just go down the line and see what is lacking. I'd start by checking for spark.

water and condensation in the distributor. pull the cap, check the points if equipped, make sure no condensation is present anywhere.

I think it might not be getting fuel? Can you replace a fuel filter when there is a full tank?

yes, just put a cup under the line to catch the few drops that will come out

Thanks for the help, do u think I should change the fuel filter or dry the cap first
