All Around White light Male?

Bought this boat and it doesn't have a 'white' all around light. When and bought one and it was a 3 pin female light.

I noticed the plug the light plugs into is a 3 pinless female connector as well with a fourth pin in the middle pointing out.

Is this normal, if so, how can I find the light? If not do I need a new base?

Not real sure if I see what you have or not but I will give it a shoot

The pin that is sticking out horizontally is an alignment pin
There should be a slot in the receiver that it will slide into

I checked my boat and looked around on the net for awhile and it appears the female end on the light and male on the base is the norm. Looks like your best bet is to get a new base. Here's what iboats has:

Notice that there are both 2 and 3-pin configurations and different locating and locking systems so you will need to match the base to your light. Might be best to return the light you have if you can and buy the light and base as a set.

yeah, that's what I though, I've been debugging the oil system and now the lighting system has me for a loop, go figure. Here's a pictured of the base:
