alignment tool?

I just ordered a transom seal kit...do I NEED to order an alignment tool? anyone in nc willing to barter one for a full detail to a boat or vehicle or your choice? I will return the tool when done...or can I make one?

hard to say, we don't know what kinda drive ya got....

i've got a mercruiser and i procrastinated about getting one for too long. i wanted to be able to check alignment ea. time the drive was off. having gotten the alignment bar, now i've no reason not to pull my drive anytime i feel so inclined...

Ayuh,... You need the bar to do the Gimbel bearing...

sorry. 3.0lx mercruiser. alpha 1 gen 2...well I think it might be a good investment. Do I need any other tools? bearing puller? this will be my first time. anything needed I would like to know
